NEW: Netherlands supports Zimbabwe agriculture

Netherlands will continue to support Zimbabwe’s agricultural sector in order to boost productivity, Dutch Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Zambia and Malawi, Margret Verwijk, has said.

She made the remarks at the Diplomatic Business Breakfast on Friday:

“In line with a key policy principle of my government – that is ‘solving global challenges together’ – the Netherlands is sharing our expertise in agriculture worldwide.

“This includes Zimbabwe where it forms the backbone of our private sector development initiatives,” she said.
