NEW: Outgoing Iranian Ambassador pays courtesy call on VP

Outgoing Iranian Ambassador to Zimbabwe Abbas Navazani paid a courtesy call on Vice President Dr Constantino Chiwenga at his offices this morning.

The outgoing diplomat’s meeting with Vice President Chiwenga focused on strengthening bilateral relations between Iran and Zimbabwe.

Ambassador Navazani expressed gratitude for the warm welcome he received during his time in Zimbabwe.

VP Chiwenga highlighted the importance of continuing dialogue and cooperation between the two countries in various sectors, including trade, technology and agriculture.

The VP acknowledged the ambassador’s contributions and the role of diplomacy in fostering improved trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.
