NEW: Over 300 land barons arrested

OVER 300 suspected land barons have been arrested for illegally selling State land.

Secretary for Provincial Affairs and Devolution for Harare Metropolitan Province Mr Tafadzwa Muguti told The Sunday Mail Online that they had issued a final warning on incorrigible criminals.

“Over 300 land barons have been arrested as of last year.

“The operations are still ongoing and citizens are encouraged to report double allocations by cooperatives,” said Mr Muguti.

Police, he added, are still investigating cases of illegal sale of State land.
