THE Parliament of Zimbabwe on Monday launched the Parliamentary Youth Caucus, a move that will enhance the inclusion and participation of young people in political processes.

Speaking at the launch, Speaker of Parliament Advocate Jacob Mudenda, said inclusive political participation was crucial to building stable and peaceful societies.

“The youth must emulate visionaries including our current President Mnangagwa, who continues to be an incandescent light in championing the rights of the young people.

“Nyika inovakwa neveno vayo. You cannot succeed if you do not have the spirit of adventure. Avoid the language, zvakaoma / toita sei manje,” he said.

“Youth are the majority, and I challenge you to dream big. The Youth Caucus must be practical.”
