Popular Zimdancehall artiste Poptain announced the release of his latest Extended Play (EP) titled ‘Redemption’ on Friday.
Speaking to The Sunday Mail, Poptain, born Ameen Abduljaleel Matanga, said the EP is based on his life experiences.
“My EP is inspired by what I have been through; if you listen to the songs , you will get to understand how much I appreciate my Maker. Redemption to me is being redeemed from human worship, but giving thanks and appreciation to almighty God, and as we get to the month of love, I have prepared something special for the ladies,” he said.
“I have decided to release this time around because it is a good time as any, because this year we have lot of music that we will be releasing; (and) hopefully, give joy to the people who have supported Poptain over the years because we know they have been waiting for what we are giving them this year.”
The EP consists of four songs: ‘Mbabvu Yangu’, ‘Only You’, ‘Tenda Wandiona’ and ‘Nguva Yareba’.
