The Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (ZACC) is setting up integrity committees as it moves to prevent corruption and promote good corporate governance at institutional level.
Integrity committees are established to lead the prevention of corruption and the promotion of integrity in the oversight areas of the institutions.
Posting on its official Twitter handle on Friday, ZACC said it has received 43 names of proposed participants from the 27 pilot institutions.
“ZACC is setting up integrity committees to prevent corruption and promote good corporate governance at institutional level.
“Since the beginning of the exercise last year, the commission has received 43 names of proposed participants from the 27 pilot institutions,” reads part of the update.
Some of the institutions that have already submitted their names include Printflow, Zinwa, Zupco, Zinara, Health Services Board, CMED, TelOne, ZBC, Zimdef, CAAZ, Zimpost and Natpharm.
