NEW: Prophet T Freddy bares soul in new song

GOODNESS and Mercy Ministries (GMM) founder Prophet Tapiwa Freddy has released a single that captures his trials and tribulations as he battled rape allegations.

The song titled “I Wanna Cry” was released on February 14.

It comes barely a week after he was acquitted.

“I was so stressed before I won the case. I used to have sleepless nights over the matter. I have since composed a new track which consoles me each time I listen to it,” said Prophet T Freddy in an interview with The Sunday Mail Online.

This is not the first time the man of cloth has composed a song inspired by real-life events.

A couple of years ago, he poured his heart out in the song “Ndiri Kurwadziwa” after his church building was demolished by Harare City Council in Glen View.

“I believe music can effectively heal wounds,” he said.
