NEW: Sarah Dee seeks financial assistance

Online Reporter

THE Music Management Forum of Zimbabwe (MMFZ) is seeking US$1 200 to cover medical bills for singer Sarah Dhliwayo Nkala, who is set to go under the knife in South Africa on July 13.

Known in the music circles as Sarah Dee, Dhliwayo was diagnosed with a lump in her left breast.

The lump is reportedly growing and spreading to her armpit.

Apart from being a singer, she is also a motivational speaker, fashion designer and model.

After going for medical tests, the songstress was referred to a South African hospital for an emergency operation.

The MMFZ is leading the fundraising efforts.

The forum’s founder, Russel Mavudzi, said it is within his organisation’s mandate to look into the well-being of artistes.

“Besides the training and development of artistes, our organisation has a philanthropic wing, which looks into the welfare of artistes. I urge Zimbabweans to come to Sarah Dee’s rescue.”
