Zimbabwe will take delivery of another 25 000 Sputnik V vaccines “within a month”, Alrosa Zimbabwe announced Thursday.
The diamond prospecting and mining company, which is a joint venture between Russian mining giant Alrosa and the Zimbabwe Consolidated Diamond Company (ZCDC), facilitated delivery of the first 25 000 doses on Wednesday.
“Alrosa Zim, a joint venture involving Alrosa and the Zimbabwe Consolidated Diamond Company (ZCDC), facilitated the delivery of 25 000 doses of vaccine from Russia to Harare. The second delivery with another 25 000 doses will arrive in Zimbabwe within a month,” the company said.
