MORE than 130 youths and women drawn from Seke District were yesterday given free business management training as part of concerted efforts to empower them.

The training, organised by the Zimbabwe Women in Construction (ZWC), was held at the Red Sun Academy in Chitungwiza.

It primarily focused on how the beneficiaries could successfully write business proposals and manage businesses.

Milton Kanyenze, one of the youths who received training, said: “I can safely say that I am now destined to become a successful business person. The training that I got today is enough for me to start a thriving business.”

Member of Parliament for Seke Constituency, Munyaradzi Kashambe, thanked the Zimbabwe Women in Construction for empowering local youths.

“This training will help our country achieve Vision 2030,” he said. “I urge other business persons in my constituency to follow suit.”
