NEW: Silas Songani set for Iceland move

SILAS SONGANI has concluded a deal with Iceland second tier side, Vestri, who are also home to Warriors midfielder, Kundai Benyu.

The 32-year-old Songani is now set to leave local champions, FC Platinum, for the European side.

Vestri confirmed the move on their social media pages.

“The West has agreed with Silas Songani, a 32-year-old winger with 11 national games for Zimbabwe, who comes to us from FC Platinum.

“We warmly welcome Silas and look forward to seeing him in the costume of Vestri,” the club said.

Songani has in recent days been also linked with a move to Harare giants Dynamos.
