PROPRIETORS of budding businesses will converge at Stephen Margolis Resort on March 5 to discuss ways of enhancing their enterprises.
Dubbed the “Founders Meet-Up”, the emerging business owners will deliberate on a number of issues, chiefly among them the use of ‘crowd funding’ as a means of raising capital.
The Enterprise Investment Fund, whose purpose is to help start-up businesses access capital, will also be launched at the event.
Mr Hilary Kutama Mushavaviri, a youthful entrepreneur whose company, Wanamari, is organising the engagement, said those that are going to attend the meeting will draw beneficial lessons.

“Apart from learning how to raise capital, they are also going to be given tips on how to start and develop a business that goes beyond the death of the founder.
“We want emerging business people to develop a mentality in which they will separate their private affairs from the businesses they own,” Mr Mushavaviri said.
Mr George Munengwa, a multiple award-winning serial entrepreneur – who is also founder and chief executive officer of ProAir – will be the guest speaker.
Dr Ethan Moyo, the executive president of Zeuth Petroleum and businessman, Mr Stephen Margolis, will be some of the key speakers.
