NEW: Strong winds blow off school roof

A STRONG wind this morning blew off the roof of a classroom block at Dirikwe Primary School in Nyanyadzi.

Around 6am, some parts of Chimanimani District received little rainfall accompanied by strong winds and Dirikwe Primary School was one of the affected institutions.

Chimanimani District Civil Protection Committee is on high alert to mitigate the impact of natural disasters in case of emergency.

The DCPC went on ground to validate the bill of quantity for damaged property.

 

No injuries were reported.
