DENDERA crooner Suluman Chimbetu officially launches his 2026 showbiz calendar today with a debut performance at The Grub in Harare.
The Orchestra Dendera Kings frontman, like many of his peers, returns from a well-deserved break following an eventful festive season.
The singer closed out 2025 on a high note following the release of his latest album “Tsapo”.
“We are excited to be hosting Sulu’s first gig of the year. This is a significant milestone for our venue, and we are fully prepared for this special event. Guests need not worry about rain or power outages; we have everything covered,” said Mathias Bangure, projects and events manager at Tamari Resorts and Grub Restaurants.
Several tracks from the new offering have already become fan favourites, including “Tiite Tiite”, “Homwe,” “Mweya” and “Perengende”.
Sulu’s management expressed their readiness for the upcoming season.
“We intend to start the year on a high note. Tonight, we set the ball rolling. From here on, it’s serious business as we embark on a national tour. We have several shows lined up and our fans should expect nothing less than polished, world-class performances.”
