A NEW suspect has been hauled to court after being implicated in the ZX Fuels Company robbery involving over US$380 000.
Tonderai Muzira, 38, was not asked to plead when he appeared before Harare magistrate, Yeukai Dzuda, who remanded him in custody.
Muzira is also facing money laundering charges, after he allegedly spent part of the US$35 000 he made from the robbery, on residential Stand number 438, Glaudina.
He bought the stand from Owen Shamba for US$10 500.
He also bought a blue Honda Fit from Lina Gwatidzo for US$6000 and a Toyota Hiace, registration number AFF 9421, from Sipiwe Muchecheterwa, for US$9 000.

Allegations are that on May 4, Muzira and his accomplices hatched a plan to rob ZX Fuels Company.
In pursuit of their plan, acting in common purpose, they armed themselves with a rifle and went to ZX fuels offices, where they confronted the security guards and fuel attendants.
They allegedly tied them with ropes on both hands and legs and then later proceeded to the offices where they forced open the doors.
Inside the ZX Fuels offices, they blasted the safe and stole US$2316 cash.
The accused persons further proceeded to the other office where they forced open the door to gain entry.
In the process, they also smashed the shutter glass with an unknown object, to gain entry into the storeroom where they stole US$380 000 cash.
The accused persons loaded the safe into a Toyota Wish motor vehicle, which was parked in the yard.
It belonged to truck driver Edmore Mumba, and they used it for their escape. The complainants reported the matter to the police.
On May 12, a Toyota Wish was recovered in the Epworth area, where it was dumped by the accused persons.
It did not have its ignition keys.
