NEW: The Sunday Mail maintains market dominance

A leading report on media products has shown that The Sunday Mail remains the weekly newspaper of choice in Zimbabwe.

According to the recently released Zimbabwe All Media and Products Survey (ZAMPS) first-half report, the local weekly dominated hard-copy sales among its competitors with 43 percent control the market.

The survey – done by the Zimbabwe Advertising Research Foundation (ZARF) – found that The Sunday Mail also enjoyed the same dominance on online platforms, where it has a 41 percent share of the market.

Following from a distance is sister paper Bulawayo Metro, with 15 percent coverage for both print and online.
