POLICE are investigating two separate cases of people who were found dead in unclear circumstances in Chitungwiza.
A bar attendant, Terence Dondo (32), was found dead near Huruyadzo Shops in Chitungwiza on Monday, with some substances on his mouth and nose.
“Police in Harare are investigating circumstances surrounding the death of Terence Dondo (32) of St Mary’s, Chitungwiza.
“On December 27, at 6am, the victim’s body, who was a bar attendant, was found lying lifeless on a dust road near Huruyadzo Shops, Chitungwiza, with some substances on the mouth and nose,” police said.
In a similar suspected case of murder, police are investigating the death of Mberikwazvo Bopoto (43) of Rockview East, Chitungwiza, who was reported missing on Christmas Day and later found dead the following day near a well along Hunyani River, Manyame Park.
“The victim was bleeding from the nose and had a bruise on the back of the head,” said police in a statement.
