NEW: Two new cholera deaths recorded

TWO new cholera deaths and 29 confirmed cases have been recorded across the country, according to the Ministry of Health and Child Care’s situation report released on Tuesday.

Two more suspected cholera deaths are being investigated.

“A total of 20 new cases have been recorded in the country as of March 27,” reads the report.

“There were two laboratory-confirmed deaths, four suspected cholera deaths and 29 laboratory-confirmed.”

The new cases were reported from Beitbridge (12), Chimanimani (3), Mbire (2) and Chiredzi (3).
