NEW: Vaccine rollout centres widened

Both first and second doses of Covid-19 vaccines are now readily available at over 30 vaccination centres that have been set up at Harare City Council-run clinics and two central hospitals.

Two other centres have been set up at private healthcare facilities – Cimas Borrowdale and Health Point.

This comes as authorities begin a massive nationwide immunisation blitz over the next few weeks.

In a notice published on Thursday, the City of Harare said vaccination centres have been established at 35 facilities.

The centres are at council clinics, including in major suburbs such as Mbare, Kuwadzana, Glen View, Highfield, Budiriro, Mufakose, Kambuzuma and Warren Park, among others.
