MOZAMBICAN football champions, Clube Ferroviário da Beira flew into the country last Sunday and are impressed by Prophet Walter Magaya’s Yadah Complex where they are camping for their pre-season sessions.
At the complex, the team has access to two football pitches, including Heart Stadium.
The Mozambican giants, who are also home to former Zimbabwe Under-23 striker, Thomas “Rihanna” Chideu, are also set to play some practice matches with local Premier Soccer League sides.
Clube Ferroviário da Beira team manager, Artur Faria described Yadah Complex as “fantastic”.
He said he was blown away by the facility back in January when he accompanied a friend to Zimbabwe.
“The first time I came here was in January with someone who was looking for a place.
“We visited some hotels and someone told me about the place, that is how I came to know about Yadah Complex. When I got here I was pleasantly surprised,” said Faria.
The Mozambican side plans to make Yadah Complex their permanent pre-season camping site, while their arrival in the country is being viewed as a plus for local sports tourism.
“In the future, we want this place to be our home,” said Faria.
