After successfully hosting burnout sessions on Unity Day, ZKS Spinners Arena are looking forward to attracting more motorsport fanatics as they will be hosting the New Year’s Eve burnout session, which will be a fusion of celebrating life through drifting and spinning, food, music and dance.

A first of its kind in Bulawayo, the event is an all-night vigil allowing those in attendance to cross over into 2026 in style, as there will be a massive fireworks display.
Local spinners who will do duty at an event which starts at 10 am include Ben AK47, Team Amakhosi, Mastanda, Mavusana (The Rock), Sbahle Ebusuku Lemini, Bhova Shawn, Malinga, Sjangala, Team Mahogany, Baba Love, Captain and King Dee.

Guest spinners include the exciting Boss Phiri and Joe (all coming from Botswana), as well as Mad Chizo, hailing from Zambia.
Those who are into music will have a variety both on decks and on stage as there is a cocktail of different performers, including Hip Hop sensation Noluntu J, Just Drey, DJ Keezy AM, Dat Boi Fresh, and DJ Apple Dee, to mention a few.
The curators revealed that the setting is a family fun event, one that accommodates everyone as both young and old, as there will be various exciting activities, especially for kids, including horse riding, ostrich rides, fireworks, family camping, and all sorts of family activities.
“We have done successful events during the course of the year, hence we decided to honour motorsport lovers by curating this show for them so that they cross over into 2026 with their loved ones at a safe and exciting environment.
“This is a first attempt for us to run an event with a camping site, as those with tents are allowed to come and sleep at the premises, and we are hoping that the people will understand the idea. Massive fireworks will be done at midnight as a sign of celebrating life and this amazing sport,” said Zakhele Mlilo.

Through this event, ZKS Spinners is celebrating a successful year, which saw them significantly expand their community impact through charitable initiatives and major regional events.
In July, the founder of ZKS Zakhele Mlilo donated 42 blankets and other electrical appliances to inmates at Khami Maximum Prison to assist them through the winter. This was part of a broader partnership with the prison for community engagement. The donations were generated at his birthday party.
In November, their partnership with the Zimbabwe Prisons and Correctional Services (ZPCS) further expanded as they hosted the Commissioner General’s Charity Half Marathon and Burnout session.
The event was a multi-tier event fused by 21km, 10km, and 5km runs, followed by a charity burnout, to raise funds for the Commissioner-General’s Goodwill Trust Fund. All the money generated from the event was donated to help orphans and inmates in furthering their studies.
