PROFESSOR Kudakwashe Taruberekera, who is the founder and chief executive officer of local property concern Craft Properties (Pvt) Ltd, has being invited for the inaugural summit of CNN International’s new live event series, “Global Perspectives on Africa”.

The high-profile event, which will bring together global leaders, CEOs and innovators to explore bold leadership, dynamic economies and transformative ideas shaping Africa and the world, will take place on November 3, 2025 at The Chancery Rosewood in

London, United Kingdom.

It will spotlight Africa’s rising influence, examining the continent’s rapidly growing markets, young talent and critical supply chains driving global change.

“This is not the first time that we have been invited to such an international event,” said Professor Taruberekera.

“We have proudly represented Zimbabwe at United Nations summits in the United States of America and other high-level conferences, always with the goal of attracting international investors. We have done that with pride with an aim to lure international

investors to come and invest in Zimbabwe. We formed a network of businesspeople who have shown great interest to come and invest in Zimbabwe in various sectors like mining, energy, agriculture, tourism, et cetera.”

Zimbabwe, he said, is a peaceful country with immense potential.

“We continue to share this message globally, and many investors are already showing interest …”

Following the London summit, Prof Taruberekera will also attend the Global AI Show in Abu Dhabi, which will be running from December 8-9, 2025.

The event will convene key players in artificial intelligence, including government leaders, enterprise buyers, investors and researchers.

“This event will give us a chance to connect directly with the decision-makers driving AI technology worldwide,” he said.

“As Craft Properties, we are committed to ensuring that Zimbabwe keeps pace with global advancements in AI.”

Craft Properties, he added, is already working on integrating AI into its business operations, with the goal of meeting international standards and positioning Zimbabwe within the global tech landscape.

“At Craft Properties, we believe in giving back to the community and supporting underprivileged members of society,” he said. The company plans to build classroom blocks at Kaiva Primary School in Kariba, in partnership with Nyaminyami Rural District

Council.
