ZIMBABWE’S representatives in CAF inter-club competitions, Ngezi Platinum Stars and Dynamos return to the Castle Lager Premiership this weekend after a two-week break from domestic football due to preliminary round matches in the Champions League and Confederation Cup.

Defending champions Ngezi Platinum Stars will visit Yadah at the Heart Stadium on Saturday while Dynamos will host Chegutu Pirates at Rufaro on Sunday.

Ngezi Platinum are in fourth place, nine points behind leaders, Simba Bhora but have a game in hand while Dynamos are 16 points adrift with a game in hand.

On Saturday Ngezi Platinum will be hoping to end their scoring crisis, which cost them in the CAF Champions League as they bowed out without scoring in the two legs of the preliminary round against DRC representative, AS Maniema.

On the other hand, Yadah are happy with the return of captain Khama Billiat who has led them to victories over Chicken Inn (Chibuku Super Cup) and Chegutu Pirates (league) on coming back from a flu-induced absence.

In his absence, Yadah lost 3-1 at home to TelOne. Against Chegutu Pirates at the Baobab on Sunday, Billiat scored the opener to move back to the top of the scorers’ chart with 10 goals together with Tymon Machope and William Manondo.
