Nightclub bouncer attacks client and steals cellphone

A nightclub bouncer has been found behind enemy lines after allegedly punching a client and stealing his cellphone.

It is said that Nyasha Moyo (27) from Lobengula West suburb in Bulawayo and a bouncer at a local nightclub was involved in an argument with a patron Akim Moyo, which escalated leading to a physical altercation.

It is reported that tempers flared as Moyo pushed and shoved Nyasha before landing blows on him.
Within minutes, Nyasha was on the ground, bleeding.

It is said that Moyo did not stop there, as he allegedly stole Nyasha’s cellphone.
The matter was reported to the police, leading to Moyo’s arrest.

Moyo appeared before Bulawayo magistrate Maxwell Ncube facing a robbery charge.
He pleaded not guilty to the charge and was advised that he could either represent himself or hire a lawyer at his own expense.

He was initially remanded out of custody to 16 December for the commencement of the trial.
