THE Castle Lager Premier Soccer League on Thursday released its suspension list for Matchday 23, with nine players set to miss this weekend’s action in a development that could significantly alter the complexion of several crucial fixtures.

Herentals College and Ngezi Platinum Stars are the hardest hit, with both clubs losing two players each through suspension.

Herentals will be without Milton Chimedza and Tinashe Mupumha, forcing the Students to reshuffle their squad at a critical stage of the title race.

Ngezi Platinum Stars also face selection headaches after Orlando Zvavarevi and Lesly Kashitigu were ruled out, depriving the former champions of two key options.

Bulawayo Chiefs will have to cope without influential striker Brian Muza as they prepare for another demanding league assignment against FC Platinum while Triangle United’s Arnold Mawadza and TelOne’s Jerry Chipangura are also unavailable due to suspension.

Manica Diamonds have lost Pascal Percy Shumbaimwe, with FC Hunters completing the list after Emmanuel Zinyama was handed a one-match ban.

With the championship race, the battle for top-eight positions and the fight against relegation all intensifying, every absence could prove costly as coaches are forced to rethink their plans.

Matchday 23 suspended players:

Arnold Mawadza (Triangle United), Jerry Chipangura (TelOne), Milton Chimedza (Herentals College)
Tinashe Mupumha (Herentals College), Pascal Percy Shumbaimwe (Manica Diamonds), Brian Muza (Bulawayo Chiefs), Orlando Zvavarevi (Ngezi Platinum Stars), Lesly Kashitigu (Ngezi Platinum Stars)Emmanuel Zinyama (FC Hunters)
