UNSETTLED FC Platinum striker Njabulo Ncube went AWOL last week. The burly forward has struggled to settle at the country’s richest football club after a surprise move from Highlanders. Reports suggest that Njabulo could be on his way back to Bosso when the transfer window opens. “Njabulo has absconded. He has not formalised his disengagement with us,” said FC Platinum chairman Dumisani Sisale,
“He should have approached the club management if he had a change of heart and followed the proper channels.”
Njabulo was signed by FC Platinum at the beginning of the season for US$10 000 on a one-year contract but he has struggled to settle and at one time he even trained with Bosso without authority from his employers.
“Njabulo packed his bags and went back to Bulawayo. He expressed his desire to play for Highlanders and it has been close to two weeks now,” said a source.
Njabulo has not been attending training sessions since FC Platinum played Bosso.
He was not in the starting line-up when his side played Triangle and sources said he was disappointed he just left the club and drove to Bulawayo.
