Nkiwane is in the country to promote the album which was released in April.
Songs in the album include Umzalwane onjani, Bewukuphi, Siyabonga, Uyowabiza and UJehova ngumalusi.
In an interview yesterday, Nkiwane said it was important for Christians to have direction in their walk with God.
He said living a double life was dangerous because it was deceitful.
“The album gives direction to Christians about how to live their lives. The song Umzalwane onjani, talks about having double standards as a way of deceit that is dangerous. As Christians, we should shun these practices and live a straight-forward life,” said Nkiwane.
He said the album also gives encouragement to Christians who have been on the road for so long to hold on and not give up.
“We find obstacles on the road of Christianity that may discourage us from continuing. Most of the songs encourage us Christians not to lose hope and continue in our faith,” said Nkiwane.
He said during his visit, he would go to different radio stations to promote his album.
Nkiwane said plans were in place to come up with a gospel DVD of his album.
“We are working on a road show in the city to promote the album and we shall be going to the radio stations to promote it. When I go back to South Africa, I will work on recording a DVD for the album so that fans will get to know the album more,” he said.
He said he was looking for a distributor for his album, which has a song on music piracy.
“Piracy is rampant and it is killing us as musicians, so I wrote Bewukuphi for them. They were not there when I was labouring in the studio to put together the album but now they just reproduce it and sell the album for $1. They should stop their practice because it is disempowering a lot of musicians,” said Nkiwane.
