Nkosazana Daughter slams MacG

Amapiano vocalist Nkosazana Nolwazi Nzama, popularly known as Nkosazana Daughter, has slammed podcaster Macgyver “MacG” Mukwevho.

A couple of weeks ago, South Africa’s Nkosazana Daughter took to her social media accounts to say that she is not in a relationship with Sir Trill or Master KG. Master KG slammed the rumours and said the two were not dating, and that he considered her like a sister.

This follows comments that MacG made on his podcast this week. He said he heard that Tumelo Zwane, known as Sir Trill, is not the father of her child. MacG shared that a friend close to Nkosazana Daughter had revealed the child’s father was Master KG.

MacG’s co-host, Sol Phenduka, suggested that the child’s paternity might have caused the break-up between Sir Trill and the singer. Taking to X on Wednesday, the Ebusuku vocalist responded, saying that her relationship with Master KG was not romantic or sexual.

“Like I said before, Master KG and I only work together. But it is like there are people trying to convince you that there is more and there is no such thing,” wrote Nkosazana. The singer further stated that MacG said what he said for his views. She expressed her disappointment at how low people can go, and lamented how women in the music industry are disrespected.

“It is so unfortunate that you will never see the amount of work that we have put out. Because I am a female I must be sleeping with him? Disgusting. We have families at home like you that watch these things you say. As for my relationship with Sir Trill, it was never a secret but private, even before you even knew me.” (sundayworld.co.za)
