FOR about two months now, Prophet Sisonke Ndlovu has been haunted by ghosts from his past, a past he would prefer to remain . . . well in the past.
His ghosts include a woman based in South Africa, who has been throwing jabs at Prophet Sisonke on social media, accusing him of being a false prophet, concerned with enriching himself and being a womaniser.
The woman, who preferred anonymity, made the rather scandalous claims about Sisonke, following the story of his prophecy about Jah Prayzah, accusing him of being involved in an adulterous affair with her younger sister, whom she claims to have fallen pregnant as a result of the affair. The woman said she was not friends with Prophet Sisonke, stating that she would soon “expose him for who he truly is.”
“He is an idiot. I don’t follow him because he blocked me but I will get him somehow. He is not a true man of God, all he does is sleep with women in the church, that’s how his church in Zimbabwe fell,” she said, also claiming that his church in Sizinda suburb had collapsed because of those allegations.
The woman also alleged that Sisonke had been threatening her on Facebook with unspecified action, using different accounts.
“ . . . And he has been threatening me with a different Facebook account . . . ”
She also said as she was readying to “expose” him, she had gotten in touch with a number of women willing to openly talk about their experiences with the prophet.
The woman, who sounded spiteful, also claimed that Prophet Sisonke once forced one of the ladies he was involved with to have an abortion and that he had fathered two children outside wedlock.
“ . . . what about the one he helped to have an abortion at five months? And the one he had an affair with and the church split because of that? Does he acknowledge his two sons though?” she said.
The woman, who is also based in South Africa, said she would soon travel to Zimbabwe to make an exclusive expose.
“Tell him next time he should not leave evidence when doing his things. I thought he was clever, do whatever doesn’t make a difference, but tell him this time he is F*****!” she said.
The woman has since created a Facebook account dedicated to “exposing” prophet Sisonke.
Her description reads: “I am the woman who will expose Prophet Sisonke.”
Not so long ago she posted a message to the prophet’s wife, perhaps warning shots to prophet Sisonke, “advising her not to threaten her, when she sleeps with the devil”
“Valentina Ndlovu be careful, don’t you dare threaten me. I told you this is not about you, it’s about your husband Prophet Sisonke Ndlovu. Don’t make me open your can of worms. Don’t threaten me. Your husband the so called prophet touched the wrong family as well. Just shut up because you don’t know anything it’s not my fault you got involved with a deceiving man like that. I am not scared.
“I don’t want anything from you, it’s your husband and you talk about opening new accounts ask the Prophet who Lucas Da Don is, it’s him. What man of God does that? I don’t want that little short twerp of yours, keep him. He lied to you and now you want to keep appearances that everything is ok. He lied to you it’s not my fault he duped everyone here that he is a saint whilst he is a rotting bin. I don’t need anything from him but he is a short little idiot. Don’t you dare threaten me,” she wrote.
The self-proclaimed man of God however, said it was about time to exorcise his ghosts, in so doing letting the world know of his past.
The young charismatic prophet, who recently opened a branch in Kanyamazane, Mpumalanga in South Africa, said only a few man of God that could talk about their past.
“I have nothing to hide and in fact there are a few man of God that are able to talk about their past,” he said, admitting to having an affair.
“This lady came to church two years ago and had major issues that we dealt with. She underwent multiple deliverances until the day she was set free. During these times we would go to the house and pray for her, sometimes with some junior pastors.
‘The affair started when I went alone. I was still married at the time, she also knew my wife but we had an affair. My first marriage was crumbling already and I had just filed for divorce, though we still cohabited with my ex-wife,” he said.
Prophet Sisonke added that the adulterous relationship went on until he divorced his ex-wife.
“I separated with my wife and I lived elsewhere. I did not break the relationship but it was constantly on and off because she was seeing other men. We eventually stopped seeing each other last year July (2015) and only to hear in November that she was 5 months pregnant. She has previously claimed the child is mine but only to retract that statement. Now a lady from our choir is pregnant and her father is late. As a father figure I went to speak to the mother to mitigate in a way for her as she was in trouble. Now it looked like I was the father of the baby, nonsense really,” he said.
Prophet Sisonke also said it was during that time that he met his present wife.
“I did see some people to seek for a partner, as this work is hard without a helper. That’s when I eventually met my amazing wife and we got along very well. Now we are going to launch a programme that is called THANDA MINA, which is a marriage building programme, where we use Biblical principles to mentor people on marriages especially young pastors. With the experience I have it is befitting to launch such a programme. It is a marriage healing course for all. As I speak I have made peace with God and myself. Perhaps yes, it is a warning to all married men, adultery does not pay. It will expose your weaknesses and you as a man. Worse as a man of the cloth your effectiveness dwindles almost instantly as I witnessed from my own experience. Saving many by the word yet I knew I could go to hell if Jesus returned at that time. Right now I’m enjoying a fruitful marriage with my wife and God is blessing us,” he said.
Quizzed about the children he allegedly sired out of wedlock, prophet Sisonke denied the claims, stating that he had children with his ex-wife.
“Yes, from my previous marriage, Joshua and Joel. About an abortion sorry that never happened,” he said, adding that his church did not split but instead he stepped down because he had informed members that he wasn’t fit to lead them as he had committed adultery.
“I called people for a meeting and told them I had committed adultery and am stepping down for three months as per the constitution of the church,” he said.
In his final remarks he said: “There is nobody who is called a man of God with no scandal. I made my mistakes and paid for them but I am very happily married now and my relationship with God is growing. People who have known my past have used it to haunt me with threats and add lies so the record must be set straight. Yes I did commit adultery but I learnt and I’m back in action. If you are unable to account for your mistakes then you are an unreliable man of God. We are all striving to make it to heaven lets spread the Word not our mistakes. How will discussing me take you to heaven?”
