Talented Bulawayo-based songstress Noluntu J is slowly becoming a favourite with the audiences in Harare, landing gig requests to perform in the capital city.

The artiste who gives some Amapantsula vibe in her appearance is performing this Saturday in the capital at the Sofar Harare edition at Mara Mara Restaurant & Cocktail Lounge for a culture pop-up affair.

Featuring intimate live music alongside fashion pop-up stores by the Fabrik Store and Pezzeculiar as well as a visual art exhibition by Lin Barrie and Yashe, this will be the third time Noluntu J performs in Harare this year.

In April, she rocked the Madirirano stage with heavyweights that include the likes of Killer Tee and Freeman before she performed at the Music Connects in August.

In October, Noluntu J is also set to be part of the lineup at Zimbabwe’s premier music showcase, the Jacaranda Music Festival (JMF), following the announcement of its third wave of performers for the 2025 edition.

The bubbly artiste said she is ready to reunite with her Harare fans and promised an additional new sound.

“The last time I was in Harare, I had a beautiful show and the crowd’s energy was electric,” she said.

“I love performing in Harare! The city has a vibrant music scene and the audience is always receptive and enthusiastic. It’s a great feeling connecting with my fans and entertaining the crowd with my music.

“I’m currently working on new music, experimenting with fresh sounds and styles. I’m also focusing on collaborations with other talented artistes, which I’m really excited about. Stay tuned for new releases and projects.”
