points for their game against Eiffel Flats.
The tie was abandoned last Sunday at Pfupajena with the Kadoma side leading 2-1 to take their tally to 47 points – one shy of leaders Harare City as the league takes a breather this weekend.
However, Harare City, DStv, Black Rhinos and Mwana Africa – who are still in the title race – will have to wait for one week more, before knowing which team will win the Premiership ticket as there won’t be any action in the Northern Region Division One this weekend.
Harare City with 48 points meet Eiffel Flats at home in the last match while second placed DStv also have a home tie against Best Academy.
Black Rhinos and Mwana Africa are tied on third position with 46 points and the army side would be at home with a clash against Highfield United while Mwana Africa face Flame Lily to Tomlinson Depot.
Yesterday, the Northern Region board, which met on Tuesday night , awarded the match on a 3-0 scoreline to DStv and also found Eiffel Flats guilty of disciplinary issues slapping them with a US$900 fine.
Eiffel Flats were found guilty of denying match officials entry into the ground for almost 36 minutes and also arriving late at the match venue causing a delay in the kick off.
Furthermore, Eiffel Flats players Rodney Mukata and Kudakwashe Mdianyama, who were red carded for using abusive language against the match officials and excessive protests against the referee’s decision to award the penalty, were also found guilty.
After considering the referees and both teams’ reports the board came up with the following decision:

Meanwhile, La Liga have continued with their fight to have the ruling passed against them in the case of the 13-minute match nullified by appealing to the Zifa Appeals Committee.
La Liga are contesting the ruling that awarded Rhinos the points for the match, which was abandoned in the 77th minute after a La Liga player was attacked while preparing to take a corner kick with the army side leading 1-0. La Liga say the game should be replayed in full or that they be awarded the points.
