Ntuthu Sparrows play Railstars

NTUTU Sparrows take on Railstars in a Bulawayo Province Netball League match at Highlanders Sports Club today. High-flying Ntuthu Sparrows are still in a buoyant mood after they made light work of Zimpost whom they beat 48-21 last weekend.  Railstars “Njanji” are also in a jovial mood after they thrashed Phakamani 63-4 in their last game.

Unbeaten Ntutu Sparrows are leading the standings with 18 points from six games.

Railstars are also yet to be beaten as they have collected maximum points from three games played so far.

Ntutu Sparrows coach Precious Mudenge said the morale is high in her camp though they are taking the game against Railstars with caution.

“We are cautious about the match and we will do our best to collect maximum points against a very good side,” said Mudenge.

Precious Chirenje and Magret Mudimu are expected to be at their best at scoring points for Ntutu Sparrows as they did against Zimpost.

In other matches, Free Stars play ZESA, Ntabazinduna take on Mighty Queens, Zimpost clash with Lobengula Queens.

In the Netball Super League, the match between Tenax and Glow Petroleum has been postponed as most of the former’s players are on national duty.

Mutare Polytechnic take on ZETDC, While Khami Prison play Stanbic Bank, as defending champions Nehanda take on Beta Holdings and Harare Central play Shamva.
