RISING female chanter, Hannah Zirore, says she is inspired by award-winning star Nutty O.

Better known by her stage name, Montana,  the Chinhoyi artist is doing well with a new song titled ‘Montana Pabeat.’

“I am a new artist on the scene who is itching for recognition and that is why I continue working hard.

“I experiment with several beats like what others are doing.

“Nutty O is my source of inspiration and role model.

“I wish to meet and work with him in future projects.”

She added:

“I did another reggae cover, ‘Kupinda Nemusoro by Tony K’, and a Hip Hop song, ‘Ndiratidze Nzira’, just to mention a few.

“I grew up in a musical family, singing in church choirs.

“So, I have had a passion for music since I was young.

“I did my Form 1-4 at Chinhoyi High and then went to Chinhoyi High 2 for my A’ Level.”

She can handle various genres.

“I can do gospel, Afro-fusion, dancehall, Hip Hop and even reggae.

“However, the challenge I am facing as a female artist is that society thinks it’s unacceptable for females to venture into music.”

Her producers are Mikella Exclusive and Cash Flow from Platinum FM.

She is also working with other underground artists like Kirma, Stambo Tee and Captain Bee in Chinhoyi.
