THERE are some places where the best way to escape the heat is not to seek shelter from it, but to chase it all the way to a waterfall.
And as summer time settles over Zimbabwe, Nyamuziwa Falls in Nyanga offers a refreshing invitation. A visitor should just lace up their shoes, follow the sound of rushing water and let the cool spray of the falls wash away the weariness of everyday life.
For travellers seeking a quieter encounter with nature, a date with Nyamuziwa can be soothing. The waterfall, housed in Nyanga National Park, along the Nyamuziwa River, surrounded by rocky landscapes, montane vegetation and the distinctive beauty of the Eastern Highlands.
