PEOPLE in Nyanga North have applauded the move by the Ministry of Health and Child Care to introduce health posts in the communities.

Nyanga North Ward 12 councillor, Councillor Anna Manimanzi said the development will bring relief to many, especially the elderly and people with disabilities who were travelling long distances to seek health services.

Her Ward Four counterpart, Cllr Richard Nyakapanga said villagers in the area want to see more health centres being established and are prepared to contribute to this cause.

Cllr Nyakapanga said some villagers have already started moulding bricks with the aim of building a clinic.

Improving access to essential health facilities is one of the key deliverables under National Development Strategy 1.
