OG coach disappointed

OLD Georgians coach Grant Mitchell says the cancellation of the National Rugby League before the completion of fixtures was very disappointing.
Mitchell said he felt sorry for his players.

“To not complete a season due is extremely disappointing,” said Mitchell.

“I feel sorry for the players, they put a lot of work into preparing for the season and have worked consistently to no avail. Sponsorship is key but effective administration of the league is critical to providing structure and direction for the season. At no stage should matches be cancelled, this is a historical stumbling block that needs to be eradicated immediately,” he said.
