Opening of airwaves, a chance to showcase Zim: Minister Muswere

The deliberate move by the Second Republic to open airwaves by issuing more broadcasting licences gives the media an opportunity to tell the true Zimbabwean story, Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services Minister Dr Jenfan Muswere has said.

Speaking during 3k television’s third anniversary at its offices in Harare, Dr Muswere said Government will continue to support the media so that there is plurality and diversity.

“As we celebrate 3K TV’s third anniversary, it is an opportunity for Government to be able to record and register some success stories in terms of opening up of airwaves by the new dispensation under the leadership of His Excellency, President Mnangagwa,” he said.

“This is one of the achievements under the 8 000 projects that we always talk about in terms of the Second Republic’s achievements.” rivers.”
