HARARE City midfielder, Donald Mudadi, says their destiny lies in their hands.
They will welcome ZPC Kariba at the National Sports Stadium on Saturday.
It’s a must-win Castle Lager Premiership encounter for the Sunshine Boys, who are headed for the dreaded chop, after a dismal start to the season.
Analysts feel Division One football is now imminent for the municipal team, who have only registered four wins, in 26 assignments.
They are third-from-the-bottom on the league table, three points ahead of anchors WhaWha.
Victory over ZPC Kariba will give them a huge lift.
Mudadi’s eye-catching performances have been blurred by the team’s woeful campaign.
He scored a brilliant goal in their 1-2 loss to Dynamos.
“It was a good goal, and stands out as one of my best, but I have now shifted my focus to helping my team in our next task,” said Mudadi.
“We played our hearts out against Dynamos and that’s how we have been playing of late, but it’s unfortunate luck hasn’t been on our side.
“We are going to keep on fighting and I believe we still have a chance of finishing in a respectable position.
“It’s up to us now.”
ZPC Kariba are four points above the drop zone and victory will give them breathing space.
