OUT IN THE COLE’D

LONDON. Harry Maguire and Cole Palmer have been AXED from England’s World Cup squad.

The Manchester United star has been snubbed from the trip across the Atlantic Ocean by manager Thomas Tuchel.

Tuchel will announce the Three Lions squad that will compete across Canada, Mexico and the USA this morning.

However, Maguire has revealed that he will be left in England while the others will board the plane.

The defender admitted that he is “shocked” by the news and disappointed not to be going.

Despite his snub, Maguire has still been able to show his class and wish the selected players luck.

He told talkSPORT: “I was confident I could have played a major part this summer for my country after the season I’ve had.

“I’ve been left shocked and gutted by the decision. I wish the players all the best.”
