HARARE, Zimbabwe — This morning, Ambassador Dewa Juniarta Sastrawan, the outgoing Indonesian Ambassador to Zimbabwe, paid a farewell courtesy call on President Emmerson Mnangagwa at State House.


The meeting highlighted the strengthening diplomatic relations between Indonesia and Zimbabwe, particularly in trade and cultural exchanges.
Ambassador Sastrawan, who has served in Zimbabwe for several years, expressed gratitude for the warm hospitality received during his tenure and emphasised the importance of continued collaboration between the two nations. President Mnangagwa acknowledged the ambassador’s contributions to fostering bilateral ties and wished him success in his future endeavours.


The farewell visit underscores Indonesia’s commitment to enhancing diplomatic engagement in Africa, with a focus on mutual growth and understanding.
