Outgoing Pakistani envoy highlights strong business ties with Zim

OUTGOING Pakistani Ambassador to Zimbabwe Murad Baseer expressed optimism about the future of Zimbabwe and its vast potential for development and investment.

He was speaking this morning while bidding farewell to Acting President Dr Constantino Chiwenga this morning.

Reflecting on his tenure, Ambassador Baseer noted the growing collaboration between Pakistan and Zimbabwe.

Ambassador Baseer believes that this burgeoning relationship is just the beginning.

“Last year, around 18 companies from Pakistan participated in the Zimbabwe Agricultural Show,” he said.

“Similarly, in June, we welcomed a delegation of about 10 Zimbabwean companies to Pakistan.

“In the next few years, you will see a significant influx of Pakistani businesses investing in Zimbabwe, especially in manufacturing and other key sectors.

“I am very content that I made my best efforts in this amazing country, which has so much potential. I look forward to seeing Zimbabwe grow and achieve its prosperity and targets.”
