Pacesetters ZPC Hwange take on army side Indlovu Iyanyathela

ZIFA Southern Region Division One League action will today enter into round 26 with pacesetters ZPC Hwange set to play host to army side Indlovu Inyathela at Chakona ground in the coal mining town.

The power generators, who are under the guidance of Mabelo Njekwa, look destined for league glory after having lost once after 25 outings.

Njekwa’s charges have only lost to Plumtree-based Mainline.

ZPC now lead the standings by 12 points after second placed Casmyn were held to a goalless draw by Adachi in Turk Mine last weekend.

With 15 points left to play for, ZPC Hwange now require just three to seal promotion.

Mkhokheli Dube’s Zebra Revolution will tomorrow take on former Castle Lager Premier Soccer League (PSL) outfit, Bulawayo City, at White City B Arena.

Zimbabwe Saints have a date with Mpopoma based Ajax Hotspurs at Brady Barrack while Mainline meet Bosso90 at Plumtree’s Dingumuzi Stadium.

Johannes Ngodzo mentored Adachi FC will seek to utilise home advantage when they take on Mosi Rovers of Hwange at White City.

“It’s not going to be an easy match. However, we have been working hard at training and we are looking forward to posting a win. We have been advising the boys not to put themselves under pressure. We will need to take control of the match and consider scoring an early goal,” said Ngodzo.

Talen Vision will battle against high riding Casymn at Filabusi Government Primary School.

Victoria Falls City will welcome Jordan Sinnot at Chinotimba Stadium. Luveve Stadium will be the venue for the game between Nkayi United and DRC United.
