Pair shot in row over pool table

same suburb were taken to Harare Central Hospital after being shot on the right shoulder and left foot respectively.
The incident occurred at DZ Travellers Tavern where the trio was attending Alick Macheso and Progress Chipfumo’s show last Friday.
The gig ended early Saturday morning.
Harare provincial police spokesperson Chief Inspector James Sabau yesterday confirmed the incident.
“Tsaurai had a misunderstanding with Karodza over a snooker table, which was in the nightclub, and the accused pulled a CZ Bruno pistol,” he said.
Tsaurai reportedly fired three shots, one, which hit the wall while the other two hit Handiseni and Karodza.
He was arrested and investigations revealed the gun was registered in his name for cash-in-transit use only.
Chief Inspector Sabau expressed concern over the abuse of guns and said police would not hesitate to arrest anyone caught misusing their weapons.
“For instance in this case, the firearm was registered for cash-in-transit but it was taken to a beerhall and we wonder what cash was being transported in such a place,” he said.
He said this was not the first time people had abused their guns.
