Parker, who worked for the East of England Ambulance Service, also stands accused of redirecting a student paramedic to the scene of the accident before bullying them into falsifying paperwork to cover her tracks.
The Health Professions Council heard on Monday how Parker used a pen to let air out from the near-side front tyre of an ambulance on May 19 2009.
Parker, who was based at an ambulance station in Rayleigh, Essex, allegedly bragged about her actions to colleagues before forcing a student paramedic to falsify records to cover up the sabotage.
A similar incident, in which Parker is alleged to have let out air from an ambulance tyre to avoid a call-out to a traffic accident on March 10 last year 2011, led to her suspension from the East of England Ambulance Service.
Five members of staff have since complained about suffering intimidating and bullying behaviour from their former colleague.
Parker failed to appear for the two-day hearing at Whitefield House, London, yesterday and will contest the allegations by email. She admits letting down a tyre in 2009 but argues it was an isolated incident. — Daily Mail.
