Parly youth caucus delegation in Armenia

A Zimbabwean delegation from the Parliamentary Youth Caucus is in Armenia to attend the 10th Inter-Parliamentary Union Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians.

In a statement released today, Parliament said the delegation is being led by Cde Stanley Sakupwanya.

“A delegation of the Parliamentary Youth Caucus, led by Honourable Stanely Sakupwanya, is currently attending the 10th IPU Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians in Yerevan, Armenia,” read the statement.

“This year’s conference is themed ‘Avoiding Lost Generations: Preserving Education and Employment’ and will primarily focus on assessing youth education as the 2030 deadline approaches.

“Key discussions will revolve around the impact of crises on youth socio-economic rights and empowerment, as well as exploring strategies for leveraging young MPs to promote youth-centered policies and address the pressing issues affecting young people worldwide.”
