A CITY woman left the courtroom disappointed after her peace order application against her neighbour was thrown out.
Isabel Maita accused Tendai Samuel of disturbing her peace and encroaching into her yard.
However, magistrate Rutendo Machingura dismissed the application made by Isabel for lack of evidence.
“I want Tendai to stop breaching my peace at my house.
“On August 6, Tendai placed her bricks on my precast security pillar and indicated that if ever I removed the bricks, she would deal with me.
“Whenever we meet, she insults me. On the day I was served with court summons, she said she was not afraid of police or court,” said Isabel.
In response, Tendai denied the accusations.
“I do admit that I placed bricks on the pillar but it’s a boundary not her yard.
“My neighbour always provokes me. Whenever she washes her clothes, she splashes dirty water into my yard.
“If she sweeps her yard, she throws litter into my yard as well.
“She once splashed me with cold water in the morning whilst I was sweeping my yard,” Tendai said.
