Lafarge gained US21c to US75c.
Lafarge sees its full-year revenue to December 2012 increase to about US$70 million, ahead of a US$62 million target set in May this year, the management said last month.
Colcom added US2,99c to US30c and Old Mutual, Zim’s largest insurance firm, rose US1c to US166c.
Trust Holdings and Pelhams gained US0,2c to US0,8c and US0,7c respectively. In normal trades, furniture retailer Pelhams led the risers after advancing 40 percent to US0,7c.
Bankers were mixed, with ABCH shedding US5,01c to 49,99c amid selling pressure across the floor, while NMB added US0,04c to US0,8c after the banking group announced it would meet the new RBZ minimum capital requirements.
African Development Corporation, the majority shareholder in ABC, said early this month it would take advantage of the distressed share price of the regional financial group to further increase its influence.
The German-based firm recently took advantage of the low share price and acquired a majority shareholding in ABCH.
Heavyweight counters Delta and Econet were unchanged at US75c and US430c respectively, while conglomerate Innscor also remained stable at 65c.
In minings, Falgold declined 35,5 percent to US12,9c while Hwange Colliery and RioZim remained stable at US20,5c and US51c respectively.
Overall trading remained sluggish, with only 24 counters out of the active 72, recording trades.
Of the 24 that traded, six were in the positive while only four were in the negative territory, with the rest trading unchanged from previous positions.
Daily revenue in normal trades was lower at around US$380 175, a significant drop from US$743 542,93 recorded on Thursday.
But turnover was boosted by a Pelhams special bargain of 116,3 million shares worth US$931 709.
Week on week, the mining index was down 8,5 percent and the industrial index advanced 1,93 percent.
