Sungura musician Peter Moyo will tonight perform at the City Sports Bar.
The musician who is working on a new album said they will be sampling new songs at the show.
“The new album is almost done and we are planning to have it launched in August on my birthday,” he said.
The show is likely to attract a number of people as they come to listen to the musician’s new songs.
“We have decided to visit some of the venues in Harare and urge our fans come in numbers,” he said.
For him, it is the time fans would have the chance to choose on their favourite songs before the album is released.
“Every musician knows that fans are our biggest stakeholders and fans need to know how far have we gone with the new stuff,” he said.
Moyo said the show kicks off their busy weekend and they are geared to give their fans a good event.
“We begin our serious Harare mission at City Sports Bar and we have planned memorable acts. We have been rehearsing well for this show and we are raring to go. Our stage act is as good as ever and we have added new acts that will definitely entertain fans,” said Moyo.
Organisers of the shows promised their patrons the best in separate interviews. “It is our big night because people will be going on a weekend and the night will be the starting point for most merry-makers.
“We have prepared well for the show and we will treat our patrons to a good night ahead of the weekend,” said one of the organisers.”
