Peter Moyo set to thrill fans at Muscle Mania

The bodybuilding competition, dubbed Muscle Mania Zimbabwe, will be held on August 4 at Queensdale Sports Club and Ochi City respectively.
While bodybuilding will be the main attraction, music is also set to take centre stage with various urban grooves artistes and dance groups expected to showcase their talents.

Organising secretary of event Tofara Moyo revealed that the show would be action packed with contestants coming from a number of countries in Southern Africa.
“We are expecting bodybuilders from South Africa, Zambia, Mozambique and Malawi to battle it out with locals from Zimbabwe’s 10 provinces,” he said.
“This is the first time we are having such a contest and we are working in conjunction with our mother body — the Zimbabwe Body Building Association. Pre-judging of the contestants will be held at the Scorpion Gym at Queensdale Sports Club and the finals at Ochi City,” he said.

Turning to entertainment, Moyo said that the “Young Igwe” is expected to keep revellers on their feet when he performs alongside the Syndicate Girls and several other several artistes.

“There is going to be full bar and catering and loads of entertainment. A number of local artistes are also expected to grace the event.”
The winners are set to walk away with prizes which include a car — a Honda Fit — courtesy of Ochi City, plasma TVs and cash.
