AXED TV star Jermaine Jenas’ new lover used to date a jailbird rapper known as The Weasel.

He was nicknamed La Fouine, or The Weasel, due to his ability to wriggle out of various criminal scrapes, including assault and drugs possession.But he was jailed in 1997 for armed robbery and again for burglary and kidnapping four months after his release.A third term followed for torching Israeli flags at a synagogue, before he launched a rap career and renounced crime.

A source said he dated Anne about a decade ago “when La Fouine was already a big star, and she was a young girl-about-town in her early 20s”.They went on: “They were often seen together, including on visits to PSG to watch the football. She clearly loved watching footballers, and hanging about with their celebrity friends.”

Another French source said: “She’s attracted to older men who are rich and successful.”

Last year The Sun revealed The One Show host Jenas and wife Ellie Penfold had split following 16 years of marriage after he was sacked by the BBC over the sex texts scandal.

In December he started dating Anne, who is the spitting image of Ellie, who is the mum of three of Jenas’ four children.

A source close to him said he was “happier than ever”.They added: “Anne has been to visit him in London but, because his work schedule is less regimented now, he can spend more time in France. You only have to look at the size of his smile to see he’s smitten with Anne.”

Anne yesterday said she was unable to discuss their relationship because she was busy with clients.Her social media reveals a taste for luxury including fur coats, Christian Louboutin shoes and Hermes bags.
